Responsibilities:
- Zero Personal First Aid/Injuries
Participate in the LIVES program
Comply with all ALA Policies including Responsible Care
Troubleshoot plant instrument/electrical and control system problems
Work closely with contractors & monitor contractor work quality
Mentor I/E Technician Apprentices
Actively participate in RCAs.
Participate in the execution & improvement of the facility's I&E; PMs. - Execute work orders, identify corrective maintenance activities & enter work orders into the CMMS.
Maintain test equipment calibration & associated records.
Maintain equipment records in both the CMMS & written form
Maintain facility P&ID; schematics.
Assist Maintenance Coordinator in maintaining equipment manuals.
Be familiar with Reliability Center & Corporate standards.
Rack in/out breakers & switchgear as necessary.
Perform routine inspections on equipment as per Reliability Center standards.
Follow company safety policies & procedures.
General Requirements:
- High School Diploma (2 year technical degree preferred)
Minimum 4 years I&E; experience
Knowledge of the use of a computerized maintenance management system
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks & prioritize work
Perform maintenance, repairs, and calibration of analyzers, transmitters, control valves, etc.
Basic understanding of the facility's control system
Thorough knowledge of the operation and safety aspects of the MCC/switchgear
An understanding of the facility's process
Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to work extended hours and shift work as business needs dictate
Ability to climb and ascend vertical ladders 200 Ft in elevation
Ability to enter confined spaces for inspection, leak testing and work
